Do not bring a picnic, as we will visit a pub for lunch.

Hopefully we can park in Hampreston Church car park, if not we will use the road side. The walk will take us to the “Bridge House” where we will have lunch.

Walk No. 2     Jan. 29th. 2012.

Wimborne St. Giles.

Meet outside the school, park either in the village hall car park or across the road from the school. We did this walk in Dec. 2011 as a 7 miler, this is a shorter version. Walking to Gussage all Saints for a drink, then we wil try and find our way back to WSG. This can be very muddy in places.

Breamore to Whitsbury.

We will meet at the Saxon Church near Breamore House. The walk will take us to Whitsbury, we will eat our picnic by St. Leonards Church BEFORE visiting the pub. All being well we will have time to visit the Mizmaze and if you wish the Giant’s Grave, before returning to our cars.

Whitsbury via Rockbourne.

Coming from Bournemouth,  Drive over the bridge into Fordingbridge, turn right, then left, continue until you reach a wooded area with a lodge on the left. Just after the lodge is a lay by park here. If unable to park here there is a cross roads a little further on with parking by the road side.

Park in the car park at the top of Wooland Hill, close to Delcombe Wood. There are a couple of hills but the views make it all worth while.

Meet in the visitors Car Park at Luccombe Farm, we will walk to Milborne St. Andrew and visit a pub in the village, then we will return via Milton Abbas, we may even visit the pub there???

Take the B3082 from Wimborne towards Blandford. At Tarrant Keyneston turn right, keepright towards Tarrant Rawson farm, Just after the farm fork right, follw the road unril you see a small grass island. Park there.
