Ringwood to Rockford.

At Ringwood take the A338 towards Salisbury, then take the first right into Northfield Rd. then another left into N Poulner Rd. follow this road around the bend past Morant Road on the right, take the next left to the car park at the end. This is a very short walk but we can take our time in the Pub and over our picnic.

Witchampton.

The road crosses the River Allen to enter the village and turns right past the old mill. Continue past a lane on the left, round a bend, and as the road bends right once more turn left up a steep entry signed “mini recycling centre” in front of a school sign. This leads up past the church on the right to a large parking area behind the village hall.

Old Wardour Castle.

Please use a map or follow the signs from Shaftesbury. This may be a Snowdrop Walk. Meet in the car park at “Old Wardour Castle” we’ll visit the pub at Donhead

Holmsley to Burley.

Take the A35 out of Christchurch Take the slip road to Holmsley Tea Rooms, then turn right and right again as though you were coming back to Christchurch. Just before you re-enter the A35 you will see a car park on the right know as “Osmonds Bushes”. Park there. We will walk to Burley visit a pub have our picnic and return to the tea room if you are still in need of refreshment.
